With that said, Video DownloadHelper has gone freemium now, and you'd need to pay for some DASH video downloads (streaming). As a result, you might want to try something like Ant Video Downloader, which recognizes as many streaming sites as Video DownloadHelper does. These apps would have FFmpeg and YouTube-dl embedded in them to merge the fragments of the stream that the web extension counterpart would send them. Most decent video downloader extensions will require some 'app' to download from streaming sites, since web extensions are limited in capability.
